Hudson Valley Community College was voted the “Best College” in the Times Union’s Best of the Capital Region 2025 readers’ poll! Winners were announced May 18.
This marks the second, consecutive year that HVCC came out on top. Siena College and SUNY Albany earned second- and third-place, respectively, followed by runners up Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Union College.
Thank you to everyone who voted! Ballots could be cast daily from Feb. 23 through March 7. Members of the Student Senate, Honors College, Student Athletes and other students assisted the Office of Communications and Marketing with on-campus promotions to encourage voting.
